Stadio Luigi Ferraris tickets & upcoming events

Stadio Luigi Ferraris is one of those iconic football grounds that just oozes history and character. Sitting right by the water in Genoa, it has this gritty, seaside charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. I mean, it’s the kind of place where you can almost feel the echoes of past triumphs and tense moments, like that unforgettable night when Sampdoria snatched a win against their rivals in a match that went down to the wire, leaving fans buzzing for days. The stadium’s south stand is a touching tribute to Spagnolo, a Genoa fan who sadly lost his life in 1995, reminding everyone of the passion and sometimes harsh realities of football fandom. Navigating your way around is pretty straightforward, take the 18 bus from the city center and hop off near the stadium, or follow the main road south from the Genoa exhibition center if you're coming by car. The atmosphere in Curva Sud Ovest Inferiore is electric, especially when the home team is pushing for a crucial goal, while the Distinti Superiore Ovest offers a more relaxed view of the game for those who prefer to soak in the action with a bit of comfort. Whether you're a die-hard supporter or just looking for a fun day out with family, the stadium hosts all sorts of events, from passionate football matches to family-friendly concerts. And if you're wondering about seating, the interactive chart makes it easy to pick your spot, whether you want front-row seats for Olly or the VIP treatment with Genoa CFC. Trust me, securing your tickets early is key because this place gets lively, you don’t want to miss out on the thrill of being part of the action in a stadium that’s as lively and imperfect as the city itself.
